About UBWIZA SACCO KARONGI

UBWIZA SACCO KARONGI is a District Savings and Credit Cooperative (D-SACCO) established following the consolidation of thirteen Umurenge SACCOs operating within Karongi District. The institution is registered with the Rwanda Cooperative Agency (RCA) and licensed by the National Bank of Rwanda (BNR) to provide microfinance services in accordance with Rwanda’s financial regulations.

As a regulated financial institution, UBWIZA SACCO KARONGI focuses on delivering accessible financial services while strengthening financial inclusion and supporting economic development within the community.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will provide technical support to ensure the organization’s ICT infrastructure operates efficiently. Key duties include:

• Providing first-level technical support for computers and related hardware.
• Supporting network systems and software used across headquarters, branches, and service outlets.
• Assisting users with Core Banking System (CBS) technical issues.
• Maintaining computer networks, internet connectivity, and email services.
• Supporting data backup and recovery processes.
• Maintaining printers, computer peripherals, and other ICT equipment.
• Monitoring system performance and reporting technical issues.
• Supporting preventive maintenance to minimize system downtime.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in:

Information Technology (IT)

Management Information Systems (MIS)

Computer Science

Or another related discipline.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should have:

• At least one year of professional experience in IT or networking.
• Experience working in:

Banks

SACCOs

Microfinance Institutions (MFIs)

Other financial institutions is highly desirable.
