World Vision Rwanda is seeking a highly qualified and experienced WASH Engineer to join its Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) team. Position Purpose
The WASH Engineer will oversee the implementation and quality control of WASH infrastructure projects at:
- 18 Health Care Facilities (HCFs)
- 7 Schools
The role focuses on ensuring contractors deliver projects according to approved designs, technical specifications, donor requirements, and World Vision quality standards.
The successful candidate will be based within the Nyungwe Cluster and regularly travel across project districts.
Key Responsibilities
Construction Supervision and Quality Assurance
The successful candidate will:
- Supervise construction of WASH facilities.

- Verify compliance with technical designs and Bills of Quantities (BoQs).
- Conduct routine site inspections.

Water Resource Development
